Colorado Drivers Ed Parent Taught

At NDSS, we believe that every teen needs a solid education in driving fundamentals before they even touch a steering wheel. That's exactly why we offer a course specifically designed to educate your teenager on the essentials of safe driving and make it easy for you to be involved.

It's not easy being a role model for something as serious and important as driving. You want to make sure that they understand exactly what it means to drive safely long before they take their first solo drive. We make it easy to be your child's mentor by giving you all the tools you need to mold them into smart and safe drivers.

Parents statewide have benefited from our services, which means that we have the knowledge to help teens earn their driver permit and get on the road. We strive to make the process as easy as possible so you can have peace of mind when your child is driving. Some of the helpful (and free!) things we provide include:

All your teen needs to bring to the Colorado is their birth certificate, social security number, Affidavit of Liability and Guardianship (Form DR 2460), and Colorado teen Driver's Ed proof of completion. After passing a vision and written test, your teen will be issued a driving permit. Teens must hold their permit for one year and have completed 50 hours of supervised driving before applying for a Colorado driver license.
